Nathan D. Baney provides experienced and knowledgeable representation in consumer bankruptcy and other legal matters. As a solo attorney, he can provide the personalized attention, accessibility and flexibility you may not get at a larger law firm.

Nathan earned his law degree from Indiana University, and began his legal career with the respected Alexandria law firm of Cyron & Miller LLP, where he learned bankruptcy law under an accomplished and well respected bankruptcy lawyer.

The main focus of his practice is bankruptcy and debt solutions for individuals and small businesses, including saving clients' homes from foreclosure and cars from getting repossessed. He also handles a wide range of other legal issues, including personal injury, workers' compensation, landlord-tenant law, family law, estate planning and administration, as well as small business formation and contract disputes.

Mr. Baney serves clients throughout the City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, the City of Arlington, and both Prince William and Loudoun Counties. He practices in the state and federal courts of Virginia, including the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is also licensed to practice in both the Superior and Federal Court in the District of Columbia, including the D.C. Bankruptcy Court.
