Focused Experience in Virginia Bankruptcy
Nathan D. Baney provides experienced and knowledgeable representation in consumer bankruptcy and other legal matters. As a solo attorney, he can provide the personalized attention, accessibility and flexibility you may not get at a larger law firm.
Nathan earned his law degree from Indiana University, and began his legal career with a respected Alexandria law firm, where he learned bankruptcy law under an accomplished bankruptcy lawyer.
The main focus of his practice is bankruptcy and restructuring for individuals and small businesses, including saving clients' homes from foreclosure and cars from getting repossessed. He also handles a wide range of other legal issues, including small business formation and litigation, real estate, landlord-tenant law, family law, estate planning, as well as personal injury and employment litigation.
Mr. Baney serves clients throughout the City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, the City of Arlington, and both Prince William and Loudoun Counties. He practices in the state and federal courts of Virginia, including the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is also licensed to practice in both the Superior and Federal Court in the District of Columbia, including the D.C. Bankruptcy Court.
